Huddersfield tops Yorkshire for House price growth in 2017
But sensible pricing remains the key

Figures recently released from the Halifax show Huddersfield homeowners were winners in 2017 with further predicted gains on the horizon for 2018. Head of Residential Sales, Andrew Sellers, however, advises caution on the ever-sensitive subject of price and says, “Sensible pricing will continue to encourage good growth in and around Huddersfield this year”

Huddersfield is one of the only towns outside London and the south to show growth and the expectation that this will continue in 2018 is a course for future optimism.

The town and the surrounding areas have always provided an attractive prospect for homeowners and investors alike due to its excellent position for commuters, the array of local business and beautiful countryside.

"Our solicitor offered praise indeed in saying that you relentlessly moved everything forward without upsetting anybody in the process. You showed determination and courtesy throughout for which we were grateful as it made everything stress free for us. Best Wishes."
